What the Blink Talisman changes

The item changes the player's evasion into teleportation for 30 seconds. The important part is not only the visual effect: it can be activated while airborne, which allows the evade to carry the player across chasms that block ordinary movement.

Because the effect is timed, activate it at the obstacle rather than at the start of a long exploration route. Check the landing point first, then commit to the jump and airborne evade.

How to equip and activate it

1. Place Blink Talisman in an Item Pouch slot before the quest.
2. Enable Button Guide Display if the item input is not obvious on your current control layout.
3. Select the talisman near the traversal point.
4. Activate it and use evasion during the jump while the effect remains active.

Controller and keyboard bindings can be changed, so follow the input shown by the current button guide instead of relying on a fixed button from another platform.

Common reasons the crossing fails

• Activated too early: the 30-second effect expires before the player reaches the gap.
• Used a normal jump only: the extra movement comes from the temporary teleport-style evade.
• Evaded from the wrong angle: face the landing area before jumping so the movement is not spent sideways.
• The item is not in the pouch: owning a copy in storage does not make it available in the field.
• No replacement was stored: automatic restocking only works when matching copies exist in the Chest.
