How to use the saved set note
- Search by a word you remember from the equipment name or description.
- Filter to the slot you are comparing in the game.
- Open the detail page to review the localized record and live-game checks.
- Select Use in set; choosing another piece in the same slot replaces it.
- Return on the same device while checking the Smithy or your chest.
The saved set is deliberately a name reference. The extracted build does not expose trustworthy defense, scaling, enhancement or drop fields, so the tool does not calculate a false total or label one set as best.
Shield compatibility still depends on the weapon
Sword, Rapier and Mace can equip a shield. Dagger, Two-Handed Sword and Two-Handed Axe cannot. A saved shield is therefore relevant only when the active weapon family supports it; use the weapon class comparison before treating a shield as part of the next build.
When to replace equipment
Do not replace a piece only because its name sounds rarer. Review the values and effects displayed in your current game version, then compare the new piece against the build problem you are trying to solve. Cardinal Rank can expand the equipment available to forge or purchase, so revisit the Smithy and merchant after a rank increase.
